Irfan Ghias Qureshi

Mr. Irfan Ghias Qureshi is a seasoned insurance professional with more than 24 years of diversified experience in Pakistan’s insurance and Takaful sectors. Over the course of his career, he has held key management and technical positions with leading organizations including EFU General Insurance, Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, Pak Kuwait Takaful, SPI Insurance, and Asia Insurance Company Limited. At The Pakistan General Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Qureshi serves as Executive Vice President (Branch Head), where he oversees branch operations, underwriting, and claims management. He is instrumental in executing the Company’s business growth strategy, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring efficient claim settlements through sound risk management and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership in strategic underwriting, claims processing, recovery operations, and performance-driven team management. His management philosophy emphasizes professionalism, transparency, and customer satisfaction—values that align with PGI’s mission of reliability and service excellence. Mr. Qureshi holds an MBA (Marketing) and a BBA (Marketing & Finance) from Preston University of Management and Sciences. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer and has completed professional development programs including “Synergizing Performance” by Navitus (Pvt.) Ltd.
