Muhammad Asfand Rashid

Mr. Muhammad Asfand Rashid is a dynamic and result-oriented insurance professional who represents the new generation of leadership at The Pakistan General Insurance Company Limited (PGI). He joined PGI as Assistant Vice President in 2024 and, owing to his strong performance, dedication, and strategic insight, was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President. Mr. Rashid began his career in the financial sector with SilkBank Limited, where he served as Assistant Relationship Manager, gaining valuable experience in client management, banking operations, and business development. He later completed a professional internship at EFU General Insurance Ltd., Multan Division, where he acquired practical exposure to underwriting procedures, claims management, and insurance administration. At PGI, he has been instrumental in developing new business portfolios, strengthening client relations, and ensuring operational efficiency across branches. His expertise spans business development, underwriting coordination, and corporate relationship management, with a strong emphasis on strategic growth and service excellence. Mr. Asfand Rashid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (First Class Honours) from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Master’s in International Business Administration (IMBA) from the University for the Creative Arts, United Kingdom. His academic foundation and analytical skills complement his leadership qualities, making him a valuable contributor to PGI’s growth and modernization initiatives.
